Turning urban into Forest School
Creating an inspiring forest school experience in an urban setting is the theme for a seminar led by FSLI Director Chris Dee at London’s Childcare Expo, which is being held at Olympia on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 March 2016.
The seminar – which will be held on Saturday afternoon - will explore the forest school ethos and approach in early years and, most importantly, how we empower children to manage risk. Chris will also identify how forest schools can link to the early learning goals with practical examples, drawn from the team's extensive experience in London boroughs including Hackney, Tower Hamlets,Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark.
