FSLI enjoy another successful trip to Australia

Posted by FSLI on July 3, 2017

FSLI Director, Chris Dee has hailed the latest trip to Australia as a ‘major success’. The team arrived back in the UK on Saturday (1st July) after a two week stay, and preparations are already under way for their next visit in October.

The team were led by Chris during their stay down under and she was accompanied by Rob Dee and Tracy Hayling from the UK, as well as Anya Perkins from Queensland.

During the second week, Nature Play QLD and FSLI delivered a 5 day Australian Level 3 Forest School Leader workshop at Indigiscapes – which was sold out.Team photo with an impressive collection of hand made mallets.

The workshop is a thorough training qualification which provides the knowledge and skills to set up and run a Forest School, and Nature Play QLD and the Forest School Learning Initiative will deliver this workshop again in October 2017 (places are still available).

The visit also further strengthened the very positive partnership with Nature Play QLD, and the team have returned to the UK with lots of new business contacts and a whole host of new ideas – exciting times ahead!
